The theme to this book would be that you should treat all people
with respect . It shouldn't matter if someone is a little different like in the book all the girls treated Carrie like she was nothing . I know what Carrie did what not exactly right but the girls treated her badly for years , and she finally just snapped ! The theme is not saying that if you tease someone that you will be killed all that it is saying that if your going to be mean to some else there might be some problems for you later .
